GivenGain’s annual fundraising partnership with the Sanlam Cape Town Marathon raised a massive R726,000 in 2018, topping 2017’s totals in every category.

Operational Manager Jannie Smith and team put together and helped execute an excellent fundraising strategy that saw the event’s fundraising increase by 570%, fundraisers by 427%, and the number of benefiting charities by 447%.

This unqualified success cements our partnership with the organisers of this great South African event. Rivalling the fundraising success of other big sporting events in the country, it will be a model for many similar ventures we embark on in other territories.
